From Dental Health to Overall Health

As a dental hygienist, creating healthy smiles was my passion – but after wrapping up my career as a dental hygienist, I shifted my focus from building healthy smiles to building healthy lives.  While I was a dental hygenist, I listened to my patients as they expressed their frustration with their dental health and their confusion about what they could do to improve it.

I taught them how sugar and stress affect the whole body and how simple new healthy lifestyle habits could improve their dental health as well as their overall health. As I coached them, it was a joy to watch them turn towards healthier, happier lives. I felt driven to pursue this passion and earned my certifications as a health and life coach. I chose to specialize on habits for better health.

Habits are the solution to a permanent lifestyle change. It starts with a mindset of choosing good health. Good health shows up when you sleep better, stress less, move move and choose healthier foods. Small simple habits that make this shift almost go unoticed, until the big results appear.

After stuggling for years of diets,depression and sugar cravings, I made the choice to put my health first choice. I wanted to lower my high blood pressure, reduce my BMI and definitely eat less sugar, which all can lead to a plethora of preventable illnesses and diseases.

The only permanent solution is habits!

Healthy habits worked for me, and they will work for you.
Today, I am the healthiest I’ve ever been. I am living my best life following my passions, from biking, kayaking, and hiking, to skydiving, traveling, grandchildren and coaching!
